A Home with Heart

Designing a residential building for a relative marked a meaningful milestone in my architectural journey—it was my first real-world project, blending personal trust with professional responsibility. From initial conversations to final drawings, I translated their vision into a space that balanced comfort, function, and style.

Using AutoCAD, I developed detailed floor plans, elevations, and 3D models that brought the design to life and enabled collaborative feedback. I focused on optimizing natural light, ventilation, spatial flow, and everyday functionality—while tailoring aesthetics to reflect their personality.

This project sharpened my technical skills and deepened my understanding of real-world constraints, from client collaboration to compliance with local building codes. It taught me how to design not just a structure—but a meaningful space to live, grow, and feel at home.
